Temphone (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how it is used, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

Temphone provides peer-to-peer communication tools. We do NOT sell personal data, and we do NOT use tracking technologies such as IDFA for advertising.

A) Account Information
• Name (optional)
• Email address (required for login)
• IP address and general location (non-precise)
• Device identifiers (for security and analytics)
• Payment details processed securely by third-party payment providers

B) Communication Data (Peer-to-Peer)
• SMS and MMS content routed through your virtual numbers
• Call logs (metadata only)
• Voicemail (if enabled)
• Delivery receipts and timestamps

Retention:
• Temporary numbers: No long-term storage after release.
• Long-term numbers: Messages may be stored as part of your account.
• Messages older than ~13 months may be purged automatically.

C) AI Features (Optional)
If you enable Auto-Pilot, Co-Pilot, or Voice Agent features, Temphone may process:
• Incoming message text
• Sender name and number
• Message history necessary for context
• Your contacts list (if permission granted)
• AI Voice Agent knowledge base entries you manually provide
• AI-generated recommendations or automated replies

AI only accesses data needed to perform the specific task you enabled.

D) Device Permissions (Optional)
• Contacts (to show sender names & improve AI suggestions)
• Microphone (for voice agent)
• Photos/Files (if sending media)
• Notifications (for alerts)

E) Diagnostics & Usage Data
• Crash logs
• Feature usage statistics
• Performance metrics
• Security and fraud detection logs

Temphone does NOT collect:
• IDFA or advertising identifiers
• Data from other apps
• Background activity from your device

2. How We Use Information

Temphone uses your information to:
• Provide peer-to-peer messaging and calling
• Assign and manage numbers

We do NOT sell user data.

• Message content with advertisers
• Data with data brokers

5. Number Release & Permanent Data Deletion

When a number expires, is canceled, or is released:
• It is returned to circulation.
• All associated call/SMS history is permanently deleted.
• Deleted data CANNOT be recovered.

When your entire account is deleted:
• All numbers are released.
• All stored data is permanently erased.
• AI-related data is also removed.

6. APIs

When using Temphone’s APIs, we may process:
• Message content
• Sender/recipient metadata
• Logs for debugging and abuse monitoring

API activity is monitored for:
• Spam
• Fraud
• High-volume automated misuse

7. Your Rights

You may:
• Request account deletion
• Request your stored data
• Update email or account details
• Revoke device permissions
• Disable AI features
• Stop using Temphone at any time

8. Children’s Privacy

Temphone is not intended for children under 13.
